Machine Guns for a Better Future

I thought this was a joke. Then I remembered the millions who chose to vote for Bush in the last elections. I guess nothing surprises me anymore.

A planned Republican fundraiser in New Hampshire aims to promote gun ownership
in America by letting supporters fire powerful military-style weapons -- from
Uzi submachine guns to M-16 rifles.

The Manchester Republican Committee
is inviting party members and their families to a "Machine Gun Shoot" where, for
$25, supporters can spend a day trying out automatic weapons, said organizer
Jerry Thibodeau.

What makes Jerry Thibodeau a crazier guy is that he said this will be a fun, family day. So if anyone out there wants to have a fun day with their family, go find Mr. Thibodeau in New Hampshire.

Have you ever tried firing a machine gun? It is indeed a lot of fun. Don't knock it until you've tried it.

First of all the uzi and M16 are not powerful. Neither one is powerful enough for deer hunting. These are simply fun to shoot and with the reduced power they have a lot less recoil. I have fired a few different kinds of automatic weapons. They are a blast! I've never seen a frown oon a person who just fired one. Girls included.
