When has this country (melting pot) turned into one where even democratic representatives consider the word Muslim or Islam as a curse? We all understand what happened on 9/11 but does this mean that now only Christians can be Presidential candidates? Who cares if our president is Christian, Atheist, Jewish, and/or Muslim? If you do as one of my readers, shame on you. Do we need to go back a hundred years and learn the definition of secularism? I thought this was taken care of. Thanks to people like Mr. Kerrey and many republican candidates, we are back to inventing the wheel again. Are we secular or not? Shame on Kerrey, for utilizing religion as a part of his poorly planned campaign to support Mrs. Clinton and more shame on him for messing it up even further by apologizing from Obama for revealing his middle name Hussein and calling him a "Muslim".
