Cause of Death for Brad Renfro: Heroin Overdose

Los Angeles Coroner's Office stated that the former child actor Brad Renfro's death is due to heroin overdose. Renfro was found dead at his LA home on January 15. Coroner's office reported that no faul play was found in actor's death. Renfro was arrested in 2005 for an attempt to buy heroin and he was put in a rehab program and 3 years of probabtion after pleading guilty.
