Jake Gyllenhaal and His Abs on the Shirtless Days of the "Prince of Persia"

This is the picture from Jake Gyllenhaal's new upcoming movie, "Prince of Persia". He clearly had to get buffed up for this movie as can be seen from the picture. But......What is wrong with the abs? It looks like some movie make up trick since there is something definitely not natural going on. It's either steroids or some type of a mold that we are observing in this picture. In any case, I heard that the movie isn't that good but Jake Gyllenhaal's gay male and straight female fans will make this movie a decent box office hit just to see the buffed up (I guess) Jake shirtless, on the big screen.
